StenoLife's 13th Anniversary!
They said we couldn't do it, but we did! Okay...no one said we couldn't do it...but we STILL did! 13 years - hundreds of dictations, videos, news stories, steno briefs, games, and (we hope) good advice regarding the world of court reporting. So we want to thank our 16,000+ members by giving some stuff away and sharing some info.
Today we're sharing a few things...the winner of the FREE October Convention Contest...an EXCLUSIVE clip from the court reporting documentary, For the Record...details on getting those free StenoLife dictations to work...and more! So check out the details below - and thanks for 13 great years - 13 more to come!
StenoLife Dictations
For years, StenoLife has provided free dictations for use - and happy to do it! Later this month we will be adding even MORE material to work with, so check in.

If you've been having issues playing our dictations, chances are the Flash player in your browser is either off or needs updating. Go here to check it out -
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

And some browsers are scaling back on Flash entirely - we will be updating our player at some point in the near future.

If you're using Chrome, to run Flash on StenoLife you may have to change your settings. See the following link - Flash in Chrome. Add www.StenoLife.com to the safe list - Allow.

Exclusive Movie Clip!
Thanks to VITAC, we finally have the captions for For the Record! So we are now in the process of editing a shorter version of the film (for classroom use) and authoring the final DVDs that will go out. I know it's been a long process, but we are getting close!

In the meantime, we'd like to thank all the sponsors who made the film possible: RealLegal, LiveLitigation, Infinity Steno Machines, Advanced Depositions and SimplySteno.

Each month we'll share a clip that did NOT make it into the final version of the film, but is worth seeing!

This clip, featuring Toni Christy (amazing stenographer!) is being hosted in the SimplySteno Facebook Group. Join today and check it out!

In our continuing efforts to help court reporting students, Encouraging Court Reporting Students and SimplySteno have been sending a student each month to their state convention - we cover all the registration fees! State conventions are the perfect way to learn about your profession and meet new people. And our winner for a convention in October is...Amy Chavez! We'll be paying her registration fees for the CCRA convention in California. Congrats, Amy!

If you took part in our free trial earlier this month, we know you fell in love with SimplySteno! If you didn't have a chance to try it, we still have a great offer for you. This will be the biggest discount we offer for the rest of 2017!

How much is the program? If you join by 8/22/17, you save at least $175 off your starting fee. You can join for 3 months ($535), 6 months ($820), 1 year ($1440) or 1-time payment ($3630). The longer the time, the more the savings.

Do I have to start right away? No. Once you make your payment, you have 3 months to start. Your payment kicks in on the day you start, not the day you pay.

What happens once I pay? Once payment is made, I'll email you with questions about your speeds, theory, CAT software (if you have it), etc... You respond to my email - and you're welcome to start as soon as Monday!

What are the fees after the initial payment? Monthly payment amounts will be based upon the amount of months paid for. The typical payment is $360 - that covers 3 months.

ADDED BONUS - Those joining in August will get access to the SimplySteno Live classes (live only, not recordings), plus lifetime PRO access to SimplySteno Flashcards.
